Let me introduce you to our blog. OK, introductions complete.

Now let me introduce you to the writers, Alt and Tab. We are both in our mid-twenties, we both love video games and we both failed pretty badly at school… Because we love video games. We grew up together in a big town in the middle of the UK. Every day after school the gaming would begin. (after watching Pokemon obviously)

Here is some of the highlights of our gaming career. Yes it is a career. Shut it.

• Starting with an Amstrad 128k playing Multi Player Soccer Manager. That game was so addictive.
• Our gaming evolved a few years later when we discovered the Amiga. Cannon Fodder, Sensible Soccer, Speedball, Syndicate, Lemmings, Barbarian… So many games…
• Next up was the NES and the introduction to the worlds of Zelda and Mario. I’m sure we will talk about all these games at a later date so I won’t yap on about them now.
• The GameBoy was next up. The fun we had with that was ridiculous. One word… Pokemon.
• Then came the Mega-Drive and Mortal Kombat. Nuff said.
• Probably next up is The Playstation. I’m not even going in to that, I’d be here for hours.
• Shortly after the PSOne was the N64. My personal favourite. Mostly because of Goldeneye. Split-screen Madness!
• Dreamcast. Died before it’s time. May it rest in peace.
• Enter the two consoles that defined our gaming lives… PS2 and the XBOX. There will be plenty said about these two consoles so I won’t go on about them now.

And that just about brings us up to the modern crop of consoles, we hope you will continue to read or posts. Trust me, there is plenty for us to talk about.

And we look forward to sharing our rants, raves and game rages with you. Not to mention some of the unbiased reviews coming your way from brand spanking new games, all the way back to the 80s!
